Steven J. Mrozek joined American Financial Services in January 2014, serving as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer. Steve brings over twenty years of wealth management experience to the group, adding a highly valued, personal service to our firm.
Steve specializes in fee-based investment management strategies. He is able to construct and manage portfolios that are unbiased from proprietary products, demands and sales quotas often imposed by banks, brokers and insurers. Providing continuously monitored and managed portfolios, being responsive to market conditions, are the keys to Steve’s process. Additionally, he provides retirement planning and education funding services for individuals, and retirement plan consulting for small businesses.
By earning the Accredited Investment Fiduciary ® (AIF®) designation from The Center for Fiduciary Studies, in conjunction with the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, Steve has demonstrated his commitment to fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care.
Steve resides in Neshannock (New Castle) with his wife Shelly and daughters Leah and Maya. His civic contributions include the Neshannock Lions Club (Treasurer) and coaching youth basketball.
